She has a background in broadcast and print journalism and a degree in Geography/Environmental Studies from UCLA (magna cum laude) with a focus in physical sciences and resource conservation.
Belinda's diverse professional and educational experience enables her to convey complex environmental and scientific issues – from biodiversity loss/acceleration of extinctions to the science of climate change – in a digestible mainstream format, whether in print journalism, public speaking or advocacy work.
A keen surfer - who likes to stay close to the water - Belinda lives in Santa Monica, CA with her family.
