After graduating with a degree in Urban and Environmental Policy (UEP) from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California, Conrad Liebowitz has focused his career on working solely with environmentally oriented businesses and non-profit organizations.
Currently working as the Regional Manager for NRG Home Solar, Conrad has been deeply entrenched in the solar and renewable energy industry since graduation and has taken on the mission of learning how to mitigate climate change within a business setting.
Prior to NRG, Conrad worked alongside Terry Tamminen as a consultant for Seventh Generation Advisors, assisting with the research and development of a smart cities database.
In addition, he assisted in the production of the “Climate Finance Action Report,” which will be present in December 2015 at the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP21) in Paris, France.
Conrad also has a passion for social entrepreneurship and has a life goal to establish an environmentally oriented business with sustainability at the core of its business model.
His passion to alleviate the burden placed on the natural environment stems from his love for outdoors activities such as kiteboarding, hiking, camping, rock climbing, snowboarding kayaking, backpacking and any other outdoors sport where the sun is shining and the air is fresh.
