On the second day of Earth Day Texas, Planet Experts paid an informal visit to atmospheric scientist Dr. Jenni Vanos to learn about Texas Tech’s homemade microclimate station.
Collecting weather and climate data does more than tell us when we’re going to have a cloudy day. It helps us better design cities and spaces and to mitigate the climate change that impacts our collective health. In this video, Dr. Vanos explains how scientists build and use devices like this to help build a better our tomorrow.
