videoOn Sunday, September 21, over 400,000 people lined the streets of New York City in support of real, effective climate change legislation. Even at its initial count of 310,000, The People’s Climate March has exceeded the expectations and previous turnouts for climate activism. It is now being hailed as the largest environmental demonstration in history.

On Tuesday, political and business leaders from all over the world will gather to discuss global initiatives to reduce carbon emissions and push for energy efficiency and renewable resources, and President Obama will be attending with the voices of Americans ringing in his ears.

As one young woman’s sign read, “The debate is over” on whether or not people believe in global warming. Now is the time for action.
