Roman Lehner

Dr. Roman Lehner is an expert in molecular biology and nanoscience. He works at the Adolphe Merkle Institute in Fribourg, Switzerland, where he studies the impacts of nanoplastic particles on human health. The project involves a human 3D intestinal model to study the interaction with nanoplastic particles, as well as the detection of nanoplastic in the environment.

Roman also organizes expeditions to sample microplastics and to raise awareness about plastic pollution.
